India is set to make a mark in the world and in a move to promote the growth of online gaming in India, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Information Technology Committee, announced that India’s first Centre of Excellence for Online Gaming will be setup in Shillong by March 2023.
This initiative is part of the government’s Digital India program and aims to promote the development of online gaming in India. The centre will provide an environment where developers can create innovative games with advanced technologies and tools. This will help foster the growth of the industry and bring more opportunities for game developers in India.
The draft is ready to ensure that online gaming is offered in accordance with the Indian Laws and that the users are protected from any kind of harm.
